Stress, exhaustion, over-working, bereavement - just a few of the life changes that can take their toll on us. These can lead to stress related problems, anxiety, insomnia, loss of appetite, irritability, headaches, backache. The list is long and tiring to read and even more tiring to live with.
Counselling offers an opportunity to look at what is happening in our lives, and to unravel some of the overwhelming feelings that we may have. Counselling provides an environment where a client can feel safe and listened to in a non-judgemental way. Counselling is working with a person, not giving my opinions or advice, but enabling that person to understand more fully what has been going on for them.
I offer one to one counselling to a broad variety of clients, from age 16 upwards. I also offer telephone counselling for individual clients. Trainee counsellors can contact me regarding long-term counselling arrangements.
